Reflections and moods of fall
The shot above and below, shot by my friend Paul Harris (you can barely see him in the reflection below), reflect what I believe is a good graphic display of the feelings we get this time of year. With the cold and wind and snow we can get trapped in our own little worlds and lost to our own. Life in the cold presents the challenges minor compared to our ancestors who lived and survived in it before we had our nice little houses and our warm shelters of today.
As I look out the window that is so cold to the touch, I remember the days of a warm breeze through the trees and listening to the waves or the sprinkle of the water in the creek.
