Manitowoc Ferry Landing and Neegee
We took a little trip down to the Manitowoc Ferry Landing and it did not seem to me the kind of place I would want someone to see if they had never been to Manitowoc before.
Although in these pictures it looks OK, there is a lot dug up ... a lot of work going on right now down there. I know it has to be done, but I would have made another way to get in and out as the work was being done.
The ferry builing does look somewhat Nautical in design, and I guess that is appropriate
I got out with Neegee and got a few nice shots of him. He always seems to pose nicely ... as if he knows he is modeling for his portrait.
It was a very nice sunset that I mostly missed, but I did manage to get a shot of the street while it still had some pretty nice color. The weather forecast calls for another nice day tommorow, so I will try to get out and get some good shots then.
The photo at the beginning of this entry is a reflection off the window of the jeep ... as I thought it was the best for the lead in.
I also got an interesting shot of the Maritime Museum ... looking almost strait up from the front of the building.
I have added a link on the right (or bottom if you are viewing this page with Explorer) that will bring you directly to my Flikr slide show of my recent photos.
