Duck creek, with a normal flood stage of 17 feet, has already reached a height of 17.87 feet so far this year. Although some flooding has been reported, it remains to be seen if actual traumatic flooding will actually occur this yet this year.
In our history, Duck Creek reached a height of 18.73 feet on March 28, 2005, three years ago, and has gone as high as 21 feet on June 23, 1990. There is a photo of this that I will post. It shows the entire parking lot of the park under water with the water line reaching halfway up the side of the clubhouse building.
A recent Duck Creek hydrograph shown below shows some of stages of water levels.
I have also included a small topographical map showing the location of the location where the majority of these photos were taken. This will give the reader a better idea of the scope of the area that I am looking at in this posting.
